Sunday evening. We visited my husband's parents today and Gene worked hard to drag a 4-drawer filing cabinet into the back of his truck so I can use it here. Or do I get the two 2-drawers? Time will tell. Anyway, it was nice to see his relatives and to spend the afternoon with my wonderful hubby.
Okay, the diet...it's going well. I have stayed true to the foods (yay). I don't know yet if I've lost an ounce. My clothes don't feel any different. Sigh--maybe tomorrow. I ate the tuna kit for lunch...not my fave. I don't know if I'll even try the chicken kit. The crackers were ok, as were the peaches. The tuna...not so much. But tonight I had a meatloaf dinner that was really good. And I got to finish the day with a piece of chocolate cake. YUM.
Now to the writing...Very bad news on that. Ever had a hard drive crash? Before you backed up your writing? Yep. I was taking my memory stick in to my desktop to copy the 4000 words I wrote on Friday and Saturday. Oh, well. Guess I should have backed it up yesterday. Anyway, I'll take it to the geeks tomorrow and pray they can recover that document. I'll let you know what happens...All for now

My first blog

This is my very first blog post. I have no idea what I'm doing. I have just this week become a Jenny Girl (Jenny Craig). I plan to keep a weight loss journal on here to document my progress as I work to lose a century.

Third day as Jenny Girl. The first day was a little hard as I was pretty hungry as I went to bed, but I did fall asleep and woke up free of hunger on Thursday. On Friday I planned to push my eating to later in the day to avoid duplicating Wednesday's problem, but my schedule got a little hectic and I ended up not eating much before 4:00 p.m. By the time I could eat at 4:30 I had a headache, but it disappeared as soon as I ate something. I was not hungry when I went to bed last night.
One of my concerns is that I love to drink GFIC coffee every morning (Cafe Vienna) and I was putting that down as an unplanned food although I know I must have it every day. As I was looking over the information last night, however, I discovered that I can have 2 TB of hot cocoa as a limited treat each day. Yippee! Surely my GFIC would fit in that category. At least I'm going with that. So this morning I had 2 TBS of my coffee. It was delicious. I've eaten my yogurt, but I am saving my Sunrise Sandwich and fruit for a little later. My digestive system is beginning to awaken now. I hope today goes well. I'm already beginning to feel a little smaller around my midsection.
